tearriffic: Arrange the hues in order. A lower score is a better score. 0 is a perfect score. I did this pretty quickly. I got a 37, which is pretty decent. It’s on the higher end of the scale for my age group and gender. I had the hardest time seeing greens and blues. Interesting?

highsee: I got a 66 and really did a number on the green/blue hues.  I’m also working with an older laptop LCD.  And I’m mostly blind.    Where am I?

blackenedbutterfly: I got a 32. The scale was the same, regardless of gender, for my age. (Just wanted a comparison, because it said gender not biological sex…)

annabunches: I scored an 8. I actually thought my colour perception was a lot worse than this. Good to know. Also, this test will be skewed based on the monitor you view it on, thanks to different monitors having different colour gamut, in practice. (in theory, they all conform to the sRGB gamut, but the manufacturing process means that the color isn’t always ‘true’.)

stachiomaniasis: I’ve done it a few times. I get 2 consistently. I can rearrange little blocks of colour, hurray!

i got a four, in the middle of the blue/green range.  i was surprised how minute the differences i was able to detect were.

i love when these kinds of tests aren’t intentionally designed to make people feel stupid.

I got 4, with “trouble” right in the range of my laptop screen’s lowest fidelity. My dad is a color management specialist at a commercial print shop, and I know from hangin’ around at his work that basically all human eyes are falliable in certain ways when it comes to color. Controlled lighting/monitoring environments are key to making informed decisions on this kind of thing.

So, if you get a low score, might be your monitor and/or the lighting in your room, just as much as your own physical perception/differentiation capability.
